Whats the best exhaust for a Wasp .18 ?? Will the stock pipe work or would I get better performance/sound out of a aftermarket. (its in my pro .15) Help me out. Thanks~Andy

Need some help as soon as possible if its cool. Help me out. ~Andy

Would a Trinity .18 work the best for the flow? I want to make sure I get the proper air flow for the motor, nothign to restricting. Would a exhaust for a 2.5 be practicle??

I don't think so. It won't line up worth a crap and that pipe just generally sucks anyway. (I've read that it sucks all over the place)

From feedback I got when I asked the same question, there's an hpi ribbed 15 pipe and I think the trinity big bore header that is a really good combo, but I can't remember exactly. I'll dig around and see if I can find the thread.

Actually the guy recommended the savage 21 pipe: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFPZ2&P=ML

I'd take this with a grain of salt. I've read up on pipes and there's a reason for having a 15 pipe on a 15 engine and a 21 pipe on a 21 engine. It has to do with timing of pressure waves or the engine runs like crap...

Also, he recommended the stock pro tmx 15 header for the old maxx. After dremmeling it out a little bit where the header bolts to the engine so it matches up better.

I have to say, I did the dremel trick on my pipe and it added significant power. It seemed to labor quite a bit before I did that, now it opens up in RPM's faster.

Cool thanks for the tips. Yeah I felt a .18 should go with a .18 exhaust also but there kinda hard to find and isnt much info on what to run on a wasp. But thanks for the tips. Ill try it out. What pipe are you running? The HPI with the 15 pro header? Or just the stock pipe and header (Dremeled out)?
