Welcome to the asylum, as i always say. The Exceed Infinitive is the exact same truck as the Redcat Volcano and the HSP 94111/Brontosaurus. The basic chassis (minus the links, lower arms, tires, and body) is also the same as the Redcat Tornado and Lightning. I have a post, located here: https://www.rctalk.com/forum/threads/my-hsp-based-collection.133625/#post-1326076 That outlines some of the similarities and differences between the HSP, Exceed RC, and Redcat Racing stuff. As for the manual, the Redcat Volcano epx manual, located here: https://dealer.redcatracing.com/manuals/VOLCANOEPXMANUAL.pdf and the parts list: https://www.redcatracing.com/collec...lds.Current_Vehicles][0]= Volcano Epx/epx Pro will all work for your Infinitive. Another way to find parts, if needed, is to look for HobbyPark Redcat Volcano parts on Ebay and Amazon, since they are cheaper typically than the Redcat branded stuff, and easier to get than Exceed parts most of the time.

In all honesty, having owned 2 of those same trucks, I wouldnt invest much. They are difficult to keep running and sorted

My boyfriend is getting back into the rc hobby and thought the 10th scale would be great for me to learn with. He has never owned or dealt with an exceed before. A new experience for both of us. Thank you for the info..... much appreciated.

I recommend a new exceed forza with .18 and 2 speed. They are sometimes on sale on Nrcx for under 190. I loved mine. It was so much better than the redcat shockwave

Ya gotta start somewhere. I have never owned an Exceed, but be careful buying metal parts for RC cars. Some are ok to use, others are not. Like the A-arms are not good to have metal. Shock towers are another one, but in some cases they can work ok.

Thinks like the axle carriers (c-hubs), shocks, chassis bracing, diff housings, transmission cases, etc are fine to upgrade to metal. You just got to look at the car's design and understand where the forces are going to be applied in a crash, and try to leave some flexible bits in there to absorb the impacts.

A good rule of thumb is, aluminum parts transfer the shock caused by a wreck to the weakest point.
If you use aluminum a-arms for example, chances are you will blow out the next part in line if it's plastic.

Really good advice thank you. I was thinking of running mine the way it is then exchanging parts if needed. My bf has a Losi 8th scale. He turned his trigger into a truck and widened the wheel base. He is so excited to run it. The weather hasn't been the best to start breaking in the engines yet. So I am excited to get started.

I've always just run mine and replace what breaks with upgraded parts. I don't bash hard so I don't break parts too often but I do have a couple that are always breaking unfortunately. That's a simple fix, they don't get to go out and play...:p

Asiatees used to carry a full option aluminum upgrade set for those models , Exceed Hsp Himoto Redcat interchange
