revo 004.webpi noticed my engine on my 3.3 was playing up last week .it was like it was sucking in air .reving it self up .today I've just noticed the engine is leaking behind the fly wheel .any one have any ideasrevo 001.webp

If its leaking behind the fly wheel its got to be the front bearing. Take the motor out and pop the little lock washer that holds the clutch bell on theres a little washer pullthat off then pull the clutch shoes off then u can take a screw driver and gentle pry the fly wheel off unless u have a puller. Behind the fly wheel is a tapered spacer pull that off and then u can see the front bearing that's all it can be. I don't know the best way to get the bearing out maybe some one on here might know.

it will mean stripping the engine then .i dont no anyother way to get the bearing out ..thanks for your help randall .................kane

heating the engine block in the oven will make the block expand and the the bearings will come out
