well I'm looking to buy a new engine and i was ondering about the sh .28? has anyone ran or heard about them. i was just wondering because they have it for a reasonable price and they supposively have 3.5bhp but i dont know what bhp is either. if it is the same a hp then i would be hapy. could some tell me what bhp is also?

thanks,
tyler

I don't know what bhp is... Do you have the extended chassis or is it the stock length? There are so many engines now-a-days that it is hard to choose just one. The collari .30, sirio .27, wasp .26/.28, ofna picco .26/.27, and the TOP .28 are all good choices if you have the extended chassis. If you have the stock length, then there is the sirio .18, os .18, picco .21 mid block, and sirio .23 mid block, then there is also the ofna .26 mid block which is also a drop in. There is also a wasp .32 coming out soon... should be a kick ass engine if it is like the other wasp big blocks.

wannarunem just bought the sh .28 to put on a storm buggy i dont even think hes broke it in yet.. pm him and ask.. i looked at it and it looked nice but that doesn't mean anything..

To my understanding of HP , BHP isn't TRUE HP ratings. Just like 1:1 cars when you get a nice 160 Hp Si Civic but when you dyno it for "whp" then the loss of HP through the Drive train and such you actually get Hp in the range of 120 or so. So with regards to Bhp which is Brake Horsepower, That is a vague output as there isn't a tested engine under load and showing the TRUE HP rating. No one wants to see a Silverado getting a rating of 310 but the actual HP is closer to 233 Whp or an escalade with a 345 Bhp rating but is closer 258.

In conclusion , Don't trust the Bhp rating instead try to think of your HP you are actually getting is closer to 3/4 of that which is stated.

yea tyler i dont no wat the heck bhp is either but i tell you wat the motor you have now is perfect for me thats why I'm giving you the money to fix it plus sum so i hope you are still going to sell it to me
also check up on the deal we have ben talking
about with that guy b/c i need that to

BHP = brake horsepower. Power output measured at the end of the drive train, effectively taking into account resistance through transmission, gearing and differentials.

Horsepower is measured at the crankshaft, power output from an unloaded engine.
