Hey guys i am a new to rc cars i have a tc3 with a 15 pull start AE i bought it used so i dont know how many tanks have been ran thru it. sometimes the idle screw will rattle loose and come out and the rotor assembly is not secure inside the carb i can manualy pull the whole assembly out. Are these signs of a engine rebuild please help. Thanks for your help

Just because the idle screw is loose, don't rebuild the motor. What you can do is go to your local hardware store or hobby shop and find a spring that is a little larger in length or is a stronger tension to help keep the screw in the ible screw hole.
Hope this helps
Peter
P.S. Lots of gppd people around here that have good idea's. I'm sure more idea's will come. Have fun and good luck with it. I am pretty sure my idea will work.

Somers is 100% correct. stronger spring will keep the screw from backing out.
when ever you buy something used, you have to expect surprizes, that is unless you buy something from me!!
Take the car to your local hobby shop (LHS), and let them have a look...

i have a similar problem, except it is the low speed needle. I can tighten it all he way, but if i loosen it just a little, i can pull the whole thing out. Is that a problem?
