Sounds like a 'lil ol' air leak in your case, Kbig! That little screw between the HSN and the carb throat SHOULD bring the idle down. I know it did work when I got it 'cause I turned the idle up on it. Try leaning out your LSN just a 1/16 and see if that helps.
 
yea it did work perfectly the first time i ran it but then i notice it kept rolling after i let off the gas and thats when it quit working lol.
 
I think i may have an air leak because the idle screw is in to where the carb is barely opened
 
First check the trim knob on your radio. Make sure it's all the way down. Your LSN might be set too lean if you're getting an uncontrollable high idle. If neither of those is the problem, start checking for the air leak.
