I recently bought a wasp .26 and got running great for a few weeks. Now after sitting overnight i went to run the car and half of the time when i give it full throttle the car moves very slow ane the engine doesn't even sound as though it wants to got faster. Also the car seems to be taking off very strange from a standstill. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

try retuning it. alot of factors can contribute to the way your engine runs from one day to the next.

sounds like you need to lean the engine off slightly. if it sounds as flat as a fart and wont pick up its too rich, if it revs and then dies a bit its too lean. have a play and adjust it only an 1/8 of a turn at a time and then give it a run.

thank you everyone for your help. I tried retuning and it didnt work, so i the went to my lhs and bought new clutch shoes just to try. I installed them and went to start up the car and realized my very bad mistake. when i gave it throttle the rod from the brakes was rubbing against the gear. lol
