i have a new .27 fantom and the break in period is ugly i can't keep it idling when ever i hit the break it dies no matter how i re-adjust the throttle, idle, low speed nothing works the slide carb is getting stuck from time to time when i break cutting all the air off help!!!

Sounds like a normal break in to me. The engine's break in period is perhaps the roughest part of its life cycle. Expect a variety of issues (some of which you have already experienced). Just keep at it. Make certain to keep the needles at the factory presets or their recommended settings for break in.

Try to adjust the idle screw (turn clockwise) to make it idle higher, also look for any leaks on your fuel line. Good luck.:hi:

if your using the idle trim on your controll, it will die when you use the breaks, make sure its backed all the way down,. i crank up the idle to start it, then warm it up, then turn the trim down to normal, then it wont die

I have a fantom .27 and what i found out was the high speed and low speed needles are not set to the factory setting. The guys at my LHS told me the same thing that the needles are off.
So i set them to the factory setting and break-in was easy. This mill has been easy to tune for me and I'm in wheele heaven good top end to.
