Wasp .18 engine problems....

Have any of you guys had the similar problems as i have i broke the engine in but in the break in my dad took it and floored it on second tank after i told him not tooo. That was bad wasn't it?

Well it starts up no problem it has compression and it runs and also the carb opens all of the way but when i give it throttle it doesent move. It tries too but even when wide open id sound like it is ideling its not reving up. I got the high speed needle at
2 3/4 and of course i got a rotary carb so no low speed neddle rite?
any suggestions on what i did wrong?

what kinda car is it on? it sounds like it has nothing to do with the engine but something in the carb or throttle maybe?!?!

Does the engine sound funny or change RPMs at all or just stay exactly the same??

ur not even suppose to come close to full throttle in the 2nd tank, major screw up. make ur dad buy u a new one. another thing, make sure the clutch shoes are still good and the spur gear is set up correctly, and not too loose.

Your dad giving it full throttle isn't a good thing during break in, but chances are that's not the problem.
It DOES have a LSN, and you should start leaning it out now. No more than 1/16 turn at a time. Then run it again. That needle affects how quickly it will transition from idle to power. You might also have to adjust the idle along with any changes to the LSN. Don't let it idle too long without monitoring it with a temp gauge. I started to tune someone's car the other day, and at idle it reached 300 in about 3 minutes.

Are you saying when you pull the yrigger the carb isnt opening up? If so you have a linkage or servo issue. If the throttle barrel is opening up then you have either a broken clutch or loose flywheel or a combination of the two.

Saggy

where is the lsn the only screw i see is the 1 that holds the linkage on and it juast loosens the linkage so it falls off ???
oh yeah i put a new flywheel on and it was a pain in the ass. and i noticed it was wobbling last night like i was going zig zag zig zafg side to side even after it was tightened down.It came with 2 little round things tried both they are gold same thing wobbley.

O and is the spring on a clutch shoes supposed to be stretched or no?

Thabnks alot

i have a diffrent problem but need help!!!!!!!!

When i put my glow plug in compression is real tight and i can't even pull the pull start. When i take the glow plug out it is fine. I have tried a new plug and takin the engine head apart. Its a sirio.18 on a maxx.

engine could be gummed up if u didnt use any after run oil. also there could be junk built up on the glow plug coil.

the clutch shoes are attached to the flywheel.. inside the the clutch bell on the end of the crank shaft on ur engine.
