Engine Problem

I picked up a used truggy. Compression seems good, but everytime I bump start it, it will either accelerate out of control or it will seem Ok and die 15-20 seconds after slow-moderate driving. Right now it is accellerating out of control everytime. I started with all the settings at stock. I am concerned the engine might have an air leak. When I have got it to run it has leaked around the glo plug. Any ideas?

Have you got the copper washer that belongs under the glow plug?

It is a turbo plug.
