i was taking my hot bodies lightning engine apart and cleaning it when i took the back plate off and sprayed the inside of the engine with wd 40 and the place where the piston it connected there was a pin that caught for the pull start which fell out. before it fell out it was sticking out some so that it would catch now it only sticks out when i tilt it back and sometimes doesn't catch at all. the engine is a .21 hot bodies stock lightning engine.

what can i do to fix this?

i think there should be a spring that goes under that pin. its very small and can easily be lost if it springs out. i believe the hot bodies engine is built jsut like a hpi s-25 so you can look at parts diagrahms for that engine.

I fixed it thanks to you. went downto where the pin fell out and looked on the ground for the spring and there it was. Thankyou so much.you saved my walet some money.
