Well, if you could convert a YS 4-stroke, they're supercharged from the factory and would make a TON of power. But gearing would have to be changes SIGNIFICANTLY

not to be a dink but anyone who says flying a Rc plane is boring has probably never flown before. There are ALOT more stunts and tricks you can do with a plane than ANY other Rc (not taking anything away from them). I have been flying for about 2 years and its a BLAST! its more addicting (To me anyway) than Rc trucks and cars.

And I found out that it is alot harder to fly a plane at slow speeds than it is at high speeds. Its kinda weird. I have a pt-40 (My starter plain) and it had a o.s. .15 in it when I got it and the dude said for a starter he'd put a .24 in it. So After trying to fly it with the .15 and it being hard as hell, I dropped in a o.s. 24, and it made a WORLD of differance. Was alot easier to take off and ALOT less runway was needed. Granted I ended up crashing it cuz of my SWEET controlling..lol.. But I wouldnt have gotten half as far with the other engine.

I have a plane that has a .31 in it, and the block is smaller than my old TRX .15 pro engine out of my Tmaxx. ALOT smaller, so Id doubt its gonna turn the tires much on a ground rc.

If you have a PT-40, you should really have a .40 size engine in the plane. Are you taking off from a paved runway? I couldnt' imagine trying to take off from grass with a .15, especially if it's tall grass.

Its a Pt-20..sorry... I always get it mixed up..lol.. The biggest I can fit is a .29 and smallest is a .15... When I got it, it had a .15.... my runway is usually a (Fine) gravel road (really compacted and smooth) or a runway I made in the pasture behind the house which is basically a backyard type cut grass... With the O.s. LA .24 in it, it goes awesome!!
