I decided to keep the 4tec as a back up basher, but I would like to kick that pos 2.5 racing engine out of there and replace it with something else, I know this is a fairly new car but I hate that engine, what other engine can be put in this car? without too much or no mods at all?

pick up either the OS .12TR or the Sirio .12 Outlaw. Both will give u more power than u will know what to do with. The OS will also be die hard reliable, something that was left to be desired with the 2.5

Keep in mind that the traxxas header will not fit these engines, and u will need to find one that will.
