So who is protecting the seller?!?! What is to stop a buyer from buying any rc vehicle, removing servos, receivers, etc, taking it to a third party, a lhs for instance, getting a quote to replace the parts the dirtbag buyer removed, and then filing a claim? As I said before, I will NEVER sell on ebay again...NEVER!

Here's just a portion of their new buyer protection policies, yall may want to read all of them well before listing anything for sale on ebay anymore.

We're writing to let you know about updates to the eBay Buyer Protection Policy and the Funds Availability program.

The updated eBay Buyer Protection Policy goes into effect on June 19, 2012:

A provision has been added stipulating that in some cases we may refund part of the cost of an item to the buyer, and receive reimbursement from the seller, to cover differences between the item described and the item actually received, such as items received with small parts missing or minor repairs needed. Buyers may be asked to provide written proof from an authorized third party detailing the cost of such repairs. In these cases, we will not require the buyer to return the item to the seller.

I sell from time to time and haven't had any issues, however I purchase from there much more.

Www.buyrcstuff.com is an eBay like service done by the guys at rc-nightmare to remedy this. Its an eBay only for rc with no final value fee. The more we use and spread it around the better it will be. Then we won't have this ebay problem anymore

When I had my Axial dingo yota for sale I listed it on ebay, two days into the auction was pulled because someone decided that I used too many "name brands" in the title. The kicker is that they said I made the mistake and that I would still have to pay the listing fess!

I told them that every "name brand" in the title was represented in the auction and that who ever pulled it was an idiot! I also told them that I would back charge any sellers fees they tried to collect. They reviewed my listing and sent an apology and told me I could re list for free. I told them not to worry about it and I would find another place to sell it!

It's sad when you are more at risk selling something than you are buying.

I still sell on feebay from time to time, but I don't let funds sit in my PayPay account. It's tough for them to put a hold on something that isn't there. LOL
