Hey Josh..my name is Ryan, welcome to the forum dude.

If you can afford to do it properly then go for it but if you just want sick power I'd look into a Mod'd .26. My bash buddies MOd'd Wasp .26 actually has more power then I care for @ times. One of the LHS's that I occasionaly visit has the Savage new Era Conversion and Dual RB engines. You absolutely gonna have to get steel tranny gears and work on your diffs as one .21 is enoug to roast the stock tranny gears. I've heard good things about New Eras conversions. You'd be suprised how many people in their uuuhh "right minds" spend bookoo bucks on rc trucks and drive the chit out of them.

Yeah, exactly. If your gonna do something do it right. I was lookin at Robinson Racing gearing stuff online yesterday. What do you think of them? It's not really the raw power that's driving me to do this but rather the originality of the whole thing. I mean my old Maxx would flip right over if I gassed it enough after a spin out. It would be rediculous with 4 times as much power and twice as much engine weight back there. Electronics will come in handy as far as wheel spin but I really think the engines need to be in front. But anyways.... what do you think about the gearing itself? I mean I'll have plenty of power for 2 gears with the stock ratios but still... there will be a whole lot of wasted HP. See, I live right down the street from a Six Flags amusement park so I got lots of parking lot space to run fast when there not open.

I did, yes. It was fun for a while but I no longer have it. It's been parted out, rebuilt, rebuilt again, etc. My T-Maxx is in the process of yet another rebuilt right now.

You know Lessen I dusted off my old T-Maxx the other day too and am trying to talk myself into the big block conversion......It has the OS Maxx .18 now but just does not have the power I remember that it had.....I have been spoiled with 30% nitro and big blocks I guess....sigh. What are you planning on doing to yours?

Check out my thread entitled Bling-a-thon in the TMaxx forum. I'm attempting to put together the ultimate "Bling Basher". I want it to look great and still take monster beating. I got a lot of Fastlane stuff, 1/8 diffs, FXT suspension.. the list goes on and on. It'll be about $1000 Maxx when it's all said and done and that doesn't include the stock truck because there is virtually nothing stock on it. A couple things here and there but it's literally 99.5% aftermarket. When I'm completely finished with it I'm going to post a complete parts list in that thread.
