Hi guys,

I am new to this hobby so please excuse my lack of knowledge.

Is a started box designed to turn the wheels or the flywheel ?
Has anyone made there own starter box ?

what size motor is in a sterter box and how many RPM does it do ?

I am considering amking my own starter box but as I have not had a look at one, I need advise.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

follow this link and you will get an idea of what they look like and how they work, yes, you probibly could build one if you had a nice metal shop and the time, but these arent expensive enough to make me want to build one, they turn the flywheel only, not the wheels, single motor starter boxes seem to be the most powerful and most popular good luck! http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/Detail.aspx?ProductID=DYN5610
