I have the bp diffs and I just put new oil in them but when I put it back together it gets hard to turn the diff everything on it is fine its almostt brand new I checked everything! No s

Sorry I meant grease I'm not sure the weight but its the same as the diff grease that's on tie ring gear but Ik its not the shimming cause there's still a tiny bit of play they were fine before until now and I think its in the spider gears somewhere. The output cup is hitting the metal rod the spider gears go on(sry don't know name) on the inside of the diff

It actually was the gasket it was hitting the gears inside because it was torn up so I got a new one. But is there anything else I could use to keep a seal on the diff besides the foam or whatever type of material gasket they give u?

I guess you could make your own rubber seal. I have never had issues with hpi's gaskets leaking. It's a good idea though to replace the gaskets every time you open up the diff.
