have u tried the bay ?? there is a seller i use that sells nothing BUIT bearings.

Their website is located HERE

And their ebay ID is RCBearings

They are RC model bearing specialists

well if i can salvage them then i would like too. I dont see the need to spend money on something if i dont have to if cleaning the bearings out fixes them if you understand what i mean.
I have not tried Ebay. I am very impatient so i usually just hit up the LHS.

ok once you take off the blue seals you need to clean the grease out of the bearings. Once all the grease is cleaned out take a real good look at the retainer that actually holds the balls. You should begin to notice that its 2 pieces. On the outer edge of the retainer between each ball there is a tab folded over. I used my safety pin and unfolded all those small tabs. Once you have the tabs unfolded then you can remove both retainers(outside and inside). After you have the retainers removed make sure that you take care and place the bearing over something that will catch the balls and not let them roll away. Then you can take your safety pin and start moving all the balls to one side. Once you get all the balls to one side the inner race will come out and then you can take all the balls out. Putting it back together is going to be tougher though. What you will need to do is coat the inner and outer race with a thin coat of grease. Place the outer race in a clean rag. Place the inner race inside it. Offset the inner race to one side and start installing the balls one at a time until you have all the balls in. After this you can install the retainers making sure to note which retainer has the unfolded tabs. Put both retainers in and then you can go through the side of the bearing with the straight pin and fold the tabs back over. Then just use the method stated above to pack them with grease. Then re-install the seals. Now if the bearings are actually bad you will be wasting your time. Also this is very tedious on the smaller bearings and unless you are pretty damn bored then just grab some new bearings and be done.
Hope i have explained it good enough so you can understand it. Its alot of work honestly but it was a learning experience and was actually fun.

That is EXACTLY what i was looking for, Thank you !!

Now all i have to do is grab my bearings and start the work.

LOL i normally dont but when i am sleepy i tend to do things i dont normally do. I was up til 3am last night tearing apart my revo to the bare frame. I just got done with the front end and started on the back end tonight, finished that up at 12am. I have to get some sleep. I should have it all back together tomorrow night and then hopefully wednesday i will get my Header. But i got new Boca bearings in the front and rear diffs and i went 50K front and 10K rear and I'm gonna see how she does. This was my first time tearing into the diffs of the Revo and it was a breeze.

This might be a dumb question but could I use an all purpose high temp bearing grease for my diffs?I was also wondering about shock oil as well?

High temp grease, or any other grease should be ok to use, but understand you cannot use it to "Tune" the diffs, that is strictly in the zone of diff oils only as i recently was told.

As to using shock oils, not really a good idea, it works, but not well as it is too thin to be of any use. I tried it in my 1/8 buggy, it was ok but it leaked out from the diff and all over the place after a handful of short runs.

In short, stick to either plain grease or diff oils only. As an aside, NEVER use a grease that is metallic, such as what we brits call "copper slip" grease. It is a grease that it is full of particles of copper and has specific applications, like the splines on the hubs of wire wheels on classic/vintage cars. That kind of grease will do more harm than good if used in a diff.

I actually remember a friend using black treacle once in a diff, good idea, bad in practice.
