Cool body! Is it lexan or printed? Looks like you'll need to shorten that front bumper a bit, the body immediately reminded me of the Kyosho Mad-Van, just look at the two side by side! I hope the body won't make it too top-heavy!

BTW I have a challenge for one of you guys who has a ton of micro-crawlers (you know the people I'm talking about!), someone gear their SCX24 up a lot (make it fast!), give it some stiffer springs or something, maybe a brushless system, and make it a "sleeper" crawler, that is, a crawler that's...fast! Or make it into a rock bouncer with one of those Ebay SCX24 rock bouncer bodies!

It is an AMT 25th scale model, so it is styrene. Not worried about it being top heavy. It is getting a lot of weight down low, and a Furitech Komodo to push it up the inclines. It will do fine.

Oh, 1/25 scale body? You usually see 1/24 scale stuff, I haven't heard of 1/25 scale before! Could you remind me what styrene is again? I think it's a type of plastic, is it like styrofoam? Oh, I'm sure you'll make the thing a beast, it's just not your style to make something look cool and have the performance be...not cool!

Styrene is basically like ABS plastic. Most model car kits are 1/25 scale. Some are 1/24. This is the model I am using, but it will be painted black and red.

Nice. Growing up there was a white chevy astro with red blood splatter on it. The windshield said psychopath killer. I was under 10 and looked up to that van, thought it was the coolest.
