An explanation or something would be helpful. I'm not 100% sure on what you've got there.
this is a home made press to remove the one way bearing from the hex hed so you can swap bearings alot cheaper than buying a new one i found the bearings for $1.70 vs the hobie shops $20.00 bearing notice the bearing is out of the hex head

Yeah, the first time I saw this post the pic wasn't even there.
thanks 4 the help on this one 1966 yours is alot nicer but this works just as well
 
Racer you still amaze me with some of the stuff you think up. I would have never thought to ter to press out one of those. Actually never knew it was possiable. I learn something new here every day almost. Sometimes it is even useful! Thanks Racer and Guy, I am going to have to try this too.
 
No problem! So where did you get the clamp? Is it for a special purpose? I haven't ever seen one quite like it.

it was a clamp i had laying around the garage i knew i would find a use 4 it some day but what it wen:)t 2 i havent a clue.

hey thats what we are here 4 all of u help me out and share your ideas. i use a socket just big enough for the bearing to fit in but not the hexhead:hehe: to remove it
