ok good news, we are working on a 1/8 scale vehicle and do not need massive 3/4 inch deepwell sockets or nothin. I use craftsman not because they are better or easier to replace. i use them because the wife likes to go to sears for alot of our household stuff so i can usually sneak a socket set or screwdriver set into the mix without her knowing it.

i remember one time when my bros friend was using his craftsman ratchet to put up a pull up bar on the outside of the storage shed and there was two 2by 4's then the 1/2 inch plywood it was the small one too and he still has the wrench.
i think that they have a pic of EL P at the counter and under it says attention: to all employees who are asked to replace a tool from this man shall do so without askign for a reciept as he is "the master of disaster"

Now, that's entirely possible. I mean they make wanted posters why not have Sears distribute a flyer for every CraftsMAN center that has pics of those who don't get questioned.

Funny how people bash on Craftsman tools, even though they been around the longest....I have a few thousand invested in Snap-on, Craftsman Mac, ect...
I have some Craftsman wrenches and socket's that are older than the oldest person on this forum, actually around 60 yrs old, and still work.....
With Snap-on your really paying for the name, not the quality.
