Confused by motor leads

Hey, I just purchased a RC4WD brushed motor and the leads are a bit confusing. Is this the correct way to connect to the leads? Not used to seeing 4 places I could wire to.. thanks!

how is that confusing. its to help idiots install it easier. its still +.- oh you can Have 1/2 the current on 1 tab the other 1/2 on the other.or 2 esc lol
 
So do I have the leads on correctly?
Yes. Your leads are correct. Those copper flanges are connected, so you can see as long at you have the positive on one side and black on the other, you're good.

Gonna try piggybacking on this by asking about which mount holes to use for this same motor. Mounting to axial scx10.3 motor mount. Timing is marked at stock on the mounting plate. Thanks again.

I want to say that pinion size. You have 14 teeth and it looks like both sides are on the 14.
