Sorry Silent, no lightning, just insane wind, crazy rain, and the spawned off tornados.

Now that idea for a challenge sounds really cool, I only wish I had a clear shell, or a hobby shop less than 250 miles round trip away.

Thanks for the ammo ImBroken. I'll link those to her and claim I'm partially right on the unlikely "possibility" during hurricane conditions. Hell, I just can't let her be right ALL the time. <G>.

Just paint a friggin body. lol
For this challenge, you can put lightning.
It was just a storm theme. I don't care about Meteorology.

Guy's. You don't have to waste a body if you don't want to.
Just use a half of a 2 liter bottle.
We can take pics and laugh.

Ok, so I'm the only one who thinks this was a cool paintjob. My sketching is pretty much like the original. I love "first-times". This is the first time I've ever laid anything out with a straight edge, and first time cutting with a dual blade. <G> Had to ad-lib a little on the hood, cause you can't see it very well.............

I though I would try the dual-razor blade trick to cut the outlines out. If it works, it'll save alot of time. I didn't put anything in between the blades. When I clamped it down, it was this far apart.........

Should have it sprayed in a couple days. I have something different in mind for the rear dark area. Stay tuned.

I finished the paintjob. Had a little fun with paint mottling. Poured some Fasescent Purple onto a wax plate, scrunched up a plastic bag, blotted up some paint, and practiced on some paper plates. Then took it to the lexan.........

You can apply just the amount or design you like..............

I then back-filled the area with Fasescent Blue..........

I'm pretty happy with my "concept" of the original. I made a mistake though with the florescent yellow. I backed it with florescent orange (before the white), which made the yellow..uh.. orange. And the dual razor blade thing didn't work for me. It was too flimsey going around curves, so I had to single-cut the outlines.

That came out awesome Silent... I'll have to try that paint motting technique... I've seen it before, but never realized how it was done.. Vet cool man.. Damn, I need to start experimenting more... That thin black outline is painted? That would take a very steady hand to cut in.. Nice job..

Man that looks Really sick!! I was kinda worried about it when I saw how it looked before, but man, that came out awesome!! Almost has the gold leaf effect (But blue of course). The black outline done with a paint pen?

... and a good set of eyes! I nearly went blind cutting in the 1/16" border. Sometimes you can't see the first cut very well, have to catch the light on it just right. Its one of those where you cut nearly everything out first, then just peel and spray. I think I need to look into those paint pens.
