I try to keep my buggy clean, and as such running on grass and dirt is a no no. I run only in damp (not enough for splashing) or dry conditions yet I am still amazed how dirty the inside of the buggy gets! As well as dust that little monster of an engine seems to throw fuel everywhere. I took the engine right out of the buggy and completely cleaned it and the mounts and bay at the same time. Question is, is it normal? The engine is supposed to burn the fuel not dump it all over the engine and inside of the car!

nitro rc cars are pretty messy from my experience
even if nothings leaking they can still cake up gunk quite a bit after some time of driving
I've seen some people put a pice of tubing on the exhaust to lengthen it so the extra fuel doesn't spatter up in your chassy as bad
