I don't plan on racing like imediatly. I want to race and stuff but first i want to get used to the car and the handling. This will be my first ONROAD car. I have had a quit a few of off road. Is the car okay for bashing occasionally??

Frank

How do you bash an on-road car? This is an honest question....

well i guess just drive around maybe hit some kickers lol jk. i really dont know i cause maybe just parkinlot races and stuff. driving around on the road. You really can't bash an onroad car.

Frank

Bashing is just another way of having fun. I've stiffened up my onroad springs and preload enough that i'll just drift into corners or get into a wot figure 8 drift. All depends on what you consider fun to be.

I am buy the pullstart Nitro TC3 I'm just a little confused ont which pull start engine to buy. Its mostly for bashing and I'm gonna go and start some racing. So i basically need an engine for bashing and racing. All suggestions welcome

So far my list is
TC3 kit- $260
MX-3 Radio w/ 2 servos- $115
Engine- $160-$200

Go to http://rc10.com check on the Refurb for about 250.00 complete RTR with a .12 pull start. Batteries, fuel, igniter, all that you need to begin bashing.

i dont really want the rtr Because i am going to upgrade everything as soon as i get it. Then i also get to learn how to take the tc3 apart because i will be building it.

Bashing can be defined by a number of different things but what it comes down to is having fun on an ungroomed track, aka parking lot. HERE's an an example of how "on-roaders" have fun.

Diver that looks like you had a blast, that is what my buddy and I do. We dont have a track around here, so it is foam tires and the freshest parking lot that we can find.

There's already a club in the borough of Queens called Queens United R/C. Click here for the link . I am part of the club.

BTW, if you look at the MARCH issue of R/C Driver, page 18 on the "Editors desk" QURC is mentioned as NY R/C.
