Broken Needle Valve on a T-Maxx

My roommate just busted his needle valve clean off his t-maxx carb. ANy clue on a fix to this aside from a new carb? We already stopped by our lhs and they didn't have the new style carbs in stock. We are currently trying to use an old style carb in his new style engine to see if we can jerry rig something so we can bash with Sky tomorrow.


Sky if you read this before tomorrow see if your lhs has the new style carb in stock and if so call me with a price and I'll check if my roommate wants to spend the money on a new carb.

Did he break the carb housing as well? If so, new carb.

Yeah he did. The new engine will not fit the old style carb so we're putting an old style engine in his t-maxx. It might not be as fast but at least he'll be running tomorrow.

Lean the hell out of it - especially if he plans on roaching the old mill anyhow. It will be fast. Like a bat out of hell. Those mills arent bad.........
