my rear diff went out today and i don't know why it would of, i was on ice and snow. i though that i might of heard that there was a recall on these, was there or was i mistaken.

i haven't called traxxas because i had classes til 5 today, and they wern't open sunday, but has anyone had any experience with this. what can i expect, will they give me a new one to replace myself or will i have to send the truck in. cause if that is the case i would rather just fix it on my own.

From what I have heard you give them the Serial number and if your truck is in the group that has been recalled they will send you the new parts. If you got one bad one I would bet the other one is faulty too, maybe you could get both of them replaced at once.

thats excatly what i though if the rear one went out so fast and if it is because of the default then the front would have to do the same.

i broke my front diff 2 days ago right after break in i didnt break the recalled part either i broke the ring gear purdy nasty damage missing like 3 teeth and the car would click and sometimes lock up when i rolled the car back an forth i called traxxas and he said he would send me a whole new diff assembly atleast thats what i think he said it was hard to hear him.

traxxas support is awesome! i just got off the phone with them and told them that my rear diff went out and they said they would get me one as soon as possable. they are even sending me a front also because he said they that one might go out. no i just can't wait to get it rolling again.
