i broke the hell out of my king sling today.... well its a simple fix on something i was going to swap out for aluminum very soon anyways, now i just REALLY have a reason to
heres 2 vids of the sling in action today
in the first I'm just trying to jump a few times nothing crazy, can hear the axle smack the ramp each time cause i can't manage to hit it straight on,
second video ......
so i got this tree in the front yard i like to flip off of.... its broken 3 of my rc so far lol,
after a FEW BAD LANDINGS that were 100% user malefunction, i snapped a chub it looks like, ill check the axle better for damage after work today, gotta go to cincinnati.... oof 3 hour drive

That took WAY longer than I thought it would!!! 🤣

I'm sure winter temps didn't help either.
Don't you go blaming poor miss mother nature. We haven't had winter temps here for about a week. That's all @majin's handywork 😄

nah it was 100% bad landings,
is a 10.00 replacement for oem, or 26 for aluminum treal set, but the treal set are a 0 degree OR 3 degree, and the factory set comes with 0 & 3 degree.. is this offset? and if yes what difference would 0 degree make if i replaced them with that?

That’s for rear toe adjustment I believe. I’m not sure how they come out the box, but if they come at 0 the 3 degree (1.5 per side I would guess) would give you a little more grip and stability at speed.

And how much does the axle housing cost? 😂

That’s where the aluminum ends will transfer the energy too
sigh...... 160..... looks like factory for me..........
for now muah muaha muahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Grab 2 sets and let it rip 🤣
I've thought a few times about getting shiny new aluminum axles and other parts for a few of my trucks, i LOVE the idea and look and durability of it..
then i remember how i drive, how reckless and how much i enjoy just deciding to send my truck 60 feet across a 12 foot gap on a tree I'm underneath, or will just decide to try to jump a tree just to see if i can land a few cool flips..
if i drive this way ( which I'm gonna cause i love it) I'm gonna just break more expensive parts, their probaby not gonna be THAT muchmore durable in comparison. like you said. my axle mount would just transfer that over to the more expensive axle, or bend something i dont want bent.
i just need something more durable than stock I'm thinking.
