Remember that 3.3 that Traxxas replaced the piston and sleeve in? I was out breaking it in and after just two heat cycle runs of about 1/4 throttle with a little bit of half throttle thrown in it has no compression when warm. Any ideas?

what does it do for you to say it has no compression are u turning the fltwheel by hand it doesn't have any pinch in the motor

How is it running?

The sleeve does expand when it hot so you will not have a much compression as when it's cold.

It doesn't even have that freshly broken in feeling when it's cold either. When it's cold it might bind at the top a little bit but until that point it has almost no compression to speak of.

Double check and make sure that you have a head gasket in there and that it's been properly and squarely seated. Also make sure your glow plug is sealed properly.

To add, check that your glow plug copper washer is intact and the plug is properly tightened down. Make sure the head bolts are snug. Make sure the Carb, the back plate are properly tightened.

Are you sure you are not mistaking pinch and compression? There is a difference you know.

It's got pinch just no compression. Like when it is warm and I pull the cord it sometimes sticks at the top but until then there is no resistance like there normally is.

are u sure the piston is in right the long skirt should face the exhaust side
