Hey everybody I'm not new to nitro but am kinda puzzled on a brake issue with my Revo. I have had this truck for about 2 years and this has never happened just started. When I drive my revo for a min the brakes start acting up kinda like there not even there I will go from having full brake to no brake? I have replaced the pads and disk and also even put a high torque servo and it still does it. I really don't know what else to replace to fix the issue? Any kind of help would be muchly appreciated. Thank you

Tightening the screws that hold the pads in place might help, but only a little bit. It sounds like the disc and/or pads might be glassed. If they are, a light sanding with high grit sandpaper will fix it

Ok thanks I will try that. It is really starting to irritate me cause I can't figure it out. I have never had this happen before and I'm not sure how I can fix it but I will try to tighten the screws a little and rough up the disk/pads a little with some sandpaper. Thank you I will let you know if it works.

I had a the same problem with my Savage when I was running steel brakes. Sandpaper always helped me too.

i found on my pushy that the disc's didnt wanna work at all unless they get some dirt in em to roughen up the pad/disc. so the odd downhill session was in order :D

in other words, do u take it off road?

Thank you for all the advise. Yes I do take it off road a lot. I do a lot of hill climbing and some jumping. I fixed the problem though I scuffed the disk up and it fixed it. I scuffed it up one time and now it stops like a champ. I think there may had been some oil of something on the new disk when I replaced it and the brake pads.
