I've always stated since day one that I built this truck to bash. It's certainly not in the same league of bling as Ralphs ultra overpriced paper weight but I believe it'll be more durable (yes, a TMaxx more durable than a Savage) but that's because I built it that way. Ralphs truck was meant from day one to look great. Yes it'll run but it's god aweful heavy and you know... the bigger they are...

speaking of... I need to weight this thing.

I know, I'm bored so I'm just yanking your chain a lil'.

You're a LIGHT WEIGHT! Got it? You're a light weight punk, even WITH that cape on!
You also need to know that you look ridiculous wearing your Jockey shorts on the outside of your tights.....and what's with those tights, anyway? What are you, a carnival performer?

Since your cape didn't come in a package, allow me to give you the warning label:

Caution.
The use of this cape does not allow the wearer to fly.

I'm on it! :)

Kind of excited. All I have is Traxxas fuel unfortunately, but its pretty hot so that might be good. I havnt run a nitro in years.

I forgot all about that lid. Man, that's an amazing piece of work!
...Ummm....This is where it really comes in handy to be the man of "Steel".

Well I did manage to get my Rx pack to take a good charge. I had a heck of a time getting the truck to run well though. Just as I was beginning to get closer with the tune I lost a wheel and couldn't find the crosspin. One thing for certain, its over geared as it sits. Thanks to Randy and the custom gears I have options that will fit. Maybe another attempt this weekend...

Hmmm. Since I had never run this mill before yesterday I cannot imagine I ever fiddled with the carb settings. Did some research at the RB site and I'm nowhere close on the published factory LSN setting.

At least I got video of it turning over for the first time :D

Thanks. I was doing some archive reading and I was wrong about my gearing. The couple of times I managed to keep it running enough to drive it around a bit I had a tough time getting it to accelerate. It just revved a ton and didn't go anywhere. I assumed I was geared way too high and the clutch wouldn't grab. I had to really feather into the throttle to make any reasonable speed. I'm currently running 18/58 and I'm reading people running well with 18/51 (with 1/8 diffs). I kinda thought that I had better planned my gearing to be stump pulling torque with little desire for top speed anyways. It was just so long ago I kinda forgot my plans. So I guess it's just in the tune, waaay too lean on the bottom... Probably just sounded like it was making more revs than it actually was????
