The biggest I have seen that was actually mounted and working was a huge weedwacker engine. I will dig up the article. I get wayyy tooo many mags to keep track DOH!

What? Matts reply?

I have seen a .40 four stroke. I have also seen twin .21s. Just what are you trying to create?

Figures...can't even get the one you've got straight and you are already on to bigger and badder beasts.

August 2002 - Radio Control Car Action Magazine
Page 242 (Backlot - Last Page)

31CC (not a .31 an actual 31) Weedwacker engine
13 Inch Wheel Base
Cable Operated Throttle
Custom Machined Clutchbell
Custom Machined steel gears
Custom Machined intake manifold with K&N filter

Engine Cost - 60$
Power Comparison - .21ci displaces just 3.5cc (this is nearly 10x that!)
Runtime - 45minutes to an hour on 1 tank
Point - Intake restricter had to be installed to 'calm' things down ;)

I thought this was dropped into a TMaxx - It started out as a Thunder Tiger Mirage! DOH! He also had to design a new 6061 Alum Chassis. Also, because of the space issue, he had to drop to two wheel drive. Just not enough room for that 4 wheel drive!

Anyhow, its cool for being a power house. If you have the mag, check it out.

:devious:
