ok, as many as you know that I have a pro. 15 engine in my t-maxx. well I tried to start it today and it just stopped and the piston would NOT come down so I called traxxas and they said that I should get the backplate off and try to get the piston out and I never done this befor and traxxas said that I get it off by my finger and I am having a really tough time with this and I did manage to get the pistion down with some locking pliers and there is really deep scrach that goes all the way around the case but thats it. no other scraches. do you have any idea that might be wrong?:depress:

sounds like you locked it up real good, did you do all this while trying to start it up cold? and if so what was the temp out side. if it is real cold it causes the cylinder to shrink and the pistons gets stuck at TDC.

it sounds like ur piston siezed... you could have gotten a piece of metal in it and that may have caused the scratch.. a new case could be like 20-30 bucks.... but when you re assemble it make sure its lubed up so when u re start it it dont do the same thing over again...

naw, I got it unstuck. and the hobby shop people looked at it and said that i'll get a gallon out of it at most:ball:
