it seems to be consensus that the 6mm tekno cvd/dogbone is the end-all, be-all of slash axles. I have a 1/10 that's not a slash but uses a lot of slash style parts and slash axles, but I need a telescoping axle because of the fitment flexibility it allows...the tekno's may work, it would be close, but that's an expensive gamble to be wrong with no return policy on an opened item.

I eventually broke stock slash plastic telescoping axles at the outer joint. I put a set of these in https://www.ebay.com/itm/2834268267...rentrq:42e4f08f1820a60c03338200ffff3862|iid:1

and they've held up okay, but are developing some slop at each pin which tells me it's only a matter of time until they fail. They aren't tremendously smooth either.

I have XO-1 rear hubs so I can use either 5mm or 6mm axles.
