well i just recieved my big bores and i was wondering which set up would be best ofr big jumps but also good for just bashing around. i want to know the shock oil weight and the springs. please help.

I would use the 40WT shock oil and probly stock springs and Trinity dark blue springs all the way around. also i have heard good things about the... R/C raven progressive springs...

Depending on how heavy your truck is, your set up will vary with the driving conditions.

For heavy truck (translate that to mean lots of metal hop-ups), a mixture of Trinity Blue and Black springs are a must. For oil weight, I used 60wt for all driving conditions that involved off road bashing (translate that to mean any off road driving that involved large bumps and lots of big air). For racing, you will want to go with some softer springs and some lighter oil.

For a stock truck, the above should handle it with Trinity Blue springs alone and some 40-60wt oil. Again, for racing...the set up will be different.

I used trinity black springs and the stock oil that came with the big bores on my t-maxx. Tons of huge air and zero shock related problems.
