Hows the best way to tell if my chassis is bent. I'm just about ready to order all my parts off tower including replacement front and rear body mounts and then my intuition kicked me in the head and i couldn't imagine how those nylon/plastic pieces could really bend.
I've noticed over the last while that my body has been fitting less and less and want to confirm what has caused it.
So i guess i really just want to know how i can tell if the chassis is bent, and if it is the best way to go about straightening it.
Thanks ya'll,

Take off the chassis. Lay it down on a flat surface. If it lays down flat on the surface, you're fine. If it's bent, you could try bending it back into place.

I doubt your chassis is bent just cause I think you would have noticed other problems, like really horrible handling, if it was. And I knew the chassis on my Maxx isn't bent but my body doesn't fit worth a poop anymore cause the body mounts are bent to hell. lol

If something was bent in a crucial area, check your drive train, suspension for binding. Even though this is a monocoque type chassis, the chassis should have straight lines from back to front.

i guess i was talking more about the ends of the chassis, like where the body posts mount to the chassis.

I guess it just seems more likely to me than the nylon/plastic body posts being bent.

That would work if it was a T-Maxx chassis or the like, but since the Revo has a molded chassis it doesn't work

this procedure wouldnt work.

the revo's chassis isnt flat.

its a revo. not a t-maxx

I bent mine the 1st week I had it but it was easy to tell because the front wheels were 2" of the ground being held up by the chassis.Dang parked cars.

I think the chassis design is a little weak (the areas you noted in the photo).

I got a new one off ebay for like $30.00 and it came with roll hoop and some other stuff.I like to support the LHS but they wanted $80.00.
