Batteries and Chargers

Wow I thought going picking the right brushless motor was hard this mess gives me a head ach.

My situation I had a stock slash 2wd sold it bought a 4x4 with a Velineon motor and ESC.

I have the Dynamite Prophet Plus charger plug in a deep and go simple

I just started racing SCT's we run about 2 run 3 times for a bout 5 min and then we have a 10 min main. Not back to back of course we have about 3 other classes in between so we have some down time in between races.

Since I have a nimh charger should I just run a nimh battery? What size?

Or shoulld I just ish can the charger and get a ipo charger and ipo battery. How many batteries do I need to buy?

Check with the track to see if they require a specific battery. as far as chargers go I love my skycharger from hobby partz. here is the link http://www.hobbypartz.com/skychb6chdup.html It does everything you need and has a built in balence port, runs AC or DC.
