  1. Bashing
I'm out bashing now .my force 32 engine was running fine .then just shut down and the high speed needle has come out .this has never happend to me before .but does anyone no the factory settings .so i can carry on bashing after I've tuned her .cheers ..........kane

put both needles flush with the collars. You can't go wrong from there. If your HSN has come out make sure it still has the rubber ring on it still. This could have come off causing it to undo itself.

the rubber ring is still there .i dont understand how it came out

I've had that happen to me once. The ring had split. I put it back in not noticing it and it caused a major air leak. And eventually turned itself out. New HSN sorted it. Does it seem loose when you put it in?

no its tight .but now you have said that i will check the seal again .it did seem tighter than before.

yep the seal is split i have a spare hpi 4.6 carb the seal mite be the same i will try that .thanks for your help ..........kane

I use AE Green Slime on the o-rings, it helps with the seal and makes o-rings last longer.

Hope you get it up and running bro, someone needs to be bashing... Its still raining here in Colorado :(

You also might want to think about sealing the backplate and carb if you have the engine out.

I use Permatex Ultra Copper RTV

Here is a link for sealing a nitro engine

I do this even on new engines now, works great...

now i have it in bits .i will do that .if i can get the stuff in the uk .cheers mate ..............kane

How are you liking the Ofna force .32 kane? I'm absolutely loving mine so far. Easy break in and a breeze to tune. Not to mention the insane power it makes. I can't keep the front wheels on the ground!!

same here .loving it to bits .my sons are going to get one each for there savages .should be a good bash.I'm thinking about getting the force r 36 :)

Yeah my neighbor across the street from me just trashed the 5.9 in his the other day. He hasnt even had the thing for a month. He's getting one too after he has seen how mine runs.

Yeah it was his fault though. He was putting in a new owb and the washer that sits between it and the backplate fell inside the crankcase and well as you can imagine it caused massive internal injuries to the 5.9. So now he's gonna get the Ofna Force .32 he wasn't really happy with the 5.9 in the first place.

got a force 36 today I'm running her in now i will let you no how she works out.......kane

even tho the 36 is a bigger engine and a big cooling head.it did not go well i think il stick to the 32.my sons have put 32 in theres now .going bashing tommorow should be fun ........kane:)

didnt pull away as fast as the 32 .harder to tune .just wasent the same.I'm going to stick the 36 in my hot bodies lightning thats going to be interesting.i let you no what its like
