So I'm fairly new in the RC hobby, got my first RC early this year. I've just been having fun with bashing my numerous rigs.

Lately I've found a local group that is into drag racing. It's nothing serious just 4-6ish (slowly growing) of us that meet up for fun. They all have rigs built for drag. I've brought my Arrma Felony but it way out classes what they have.

Today I ordered a team associated dr10 rtr.

What kind of tuning should I be looking into to be able to keep up?

Id do a DragRace Concepts DR10 Drag Pak "Pro Spec" Conversion Kit on it and drop in either a Maclan DRK ESC or a Tekin RX8 Gen3 ESC with a Tekin eliminator motor. Either a 3.5T or 4.5T. They make a 2.5T also but that seems a bit extreme to me. Then again I'm just getting into the no prep thing so everything I'm saying is just what I see a lot of my local no prep guys doing.
