Barbwire XL reverse issue

Hi all, I just got my new Barbwire XL, visual and function test are in good condition except the motor is not able to go reverse. Would anyone tell me why? Many thx!

did boat come with instructions?. have you read them ?. does boat say it has reverse?. id say no so you dont loose the prop.

Generally boats like the Barbwire aren't set up for reverse so there won't be one on the ESC.
