Thats some talent you got there. How many do you paint each day?

can get a lot done in a day but it just matters on the work load .. most of the time i have 2-3 to do a week .. alot of repeat paint schemes for the same guys so i don't post to much of that stuff just different or one offs..
heres this weeks fresh paint.. plus i did a couple of other ones but again . just repeats ..

yeah, that's always been my problem. I always overdo it. It's sort of a trademark at this point since I seem not to be able to hold back on the black.

Do you know of a way to dilute black without thinning it more? Like... is there a clear paint that I can mix with black to dilute it? I use Pactra for r/c cars (laquer based). I know I can simply thin it more which would give me more control but then you pay the price in durability because it doesn't bond to the lexan.. that much I've learned and have corrected :)

Are you using their thinner?
I've never had a problem over thinning a color and have flake off..
with the over cut black i use for shadows i do a 1:1 cut ratio and some times a bit more but never noticed a problem

Yes, I use their thinner for paint mixing. That's how I've been thinning black as well. I think you just have a better feel for spraying lightly. Definitly something for me to work on. Thanks Mel!

Thanks NC!
