B4 / T4 Caster Block ?

Does anyone make a Front Caster block for the B4 / T4 smaller then 20 degrees?
I'm running on road and would love to find something around 1-10.

Any help would be great.

Have you tried flipping the caster blocks around, so left is right and vice-versa?

It takes brains to think of doing something like that.

Actually I don't even have the rig yet. I just ordered it in from AEs closeout page. Should have it by Friday.

The only issue with flipping the caster blocks around is the actual pivot point of the steering knuckle.

Can anyone explain exactly what a caster block does? I would like to play with that aspect of tuning, but without really knowing what it does I am hesitant to play with it.

Hey Ed, I love the T4 on asphalt. I put a set of speed hawg II's on the front and back and let er rip. A whole lot of fun, and with the BL setup, it is stupid fast! Are you going to go BL in yours?

Caster is a measure of the tilt angle of the steering hingepin. By leaning the hingepin forward or backward, you can change the steering behavior of the car. The B4/T4 are off-road rides. They have tons of negative caster. That means the top of the pin is way behind the bottom. Like this / . That works well in dirt because when you turn it allows the front wheels to bite into the surface and hook the car. Eddy is converting to on-road where that severe of a caster angle hurts rather than helps. You want a more straight up caster. I think on my RS4, stock caster angle is only -5°.

One quick question Eddy (since I haven't bothered to look). Does the B4/T4 chassis have front kick-up? If so, that can make neutralizing the caster a bit of a trick.

Hey Candyman... yes.. the front of the chassis does have a bit up of a kick up.

Thanks for the explaination Candyman. I always thought that caster was the angle of the top of the tire. So if I am understanding correctly... if I want less bite on a dirt track just add more positive camber... more bite negative camber? Thanks my friend.
