So I've been a long-time fan of RC racing, but only recently bought an enthusiast class car. While my first foray into RC was a Traxxas Rustler, and I understand it isn't a racing chassis, it was nonetheless an eye opener.
Since then I've bought a Schumacher: Laydown 2, Cat L1, Storm ST. I've got the full set-up for the L2 with a 17.5t motor and Hobbywing ESC, and a 6.5t motor and HW ESC for the CatL1. I'm thinking that due to my local tracks classes, I need to buy a 13.5t motor for the Storm or to put into the CatL1. My question, is: with sticking with HW, what is the difference between the Quickrun and V10 G3 motors? I bought the 6.5t G3, and bought a Reedy 17.5t, but I'm wanting to stay with one brand. Motor isn't as big of a deal as the ESC(figured it would be easier to just buy the bare minimum of programmers) and I'm wanting to save as much money as I can.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
