Does anyone know what the stock factory settings are for the rc10gt .15 engine?

If it's the AE/TTR .15 that comes stock on the RTR, here's how to set it. First, set the idle stop screw (the little one next to the carb opening) so that there's a 1mm opening in the carb inlet when the throttle is closed.
Then set the HSN. Turn it clockwise until you just feel it hit the bottom. Don't tighten as you'll distort the needle seat and toast the HSN assembly. Then turn it counterclockwise 2.5 turns out.
To set the LSN, hold the carb arm closed. Turn the LSN in until it just hits (same as the HSN). Then turn it out 2 to 2.5 turns. Should be all set. Also, as recommended in your other thread, you really may want to take an evening and quickly clean out the engine. If you're seeing grime or sludge in there, there also may be some debris in the needle assemblies that will restrict fuel from getting into the engine.

Thanks Candyman I'm going to get some denture alcohol tomorrow and take it apart and give it a nice bath lol. Then I will start from scratch with these settings and then cross my fingers hehe.

Not denture alcohol! Denatured. Make sure it's denatured. Denatured has no water in it and won't cause your parts to rust!!!!!

lmao ok, where can I get that from? Is that something most stores carry?

Any hardware store should have it. I never knew the low speed setting, but i remember the stock high speed setting is 2.5 turns out. Have you replaced the fuel filter and lines? The tank may be clogged to... if he let it sit with gas in there, it could have left some residue... Good luck with it!
