I'm new into the Nitro 1/8 Buggy hobby and would like to know if anyone from around here knows of any good places. if not, i think i might build a track on my 50 acres.
I hate to dredge up old posts (luckily this one isn't THAT old though). Anyway, there's a track just over the Ohio line. Take I-90 into Ohio and get off on Route 193. Take it SOUTH (Left turn I believe) about three miles. THe track is called KandB Racetrack and they're located on the right (west) side of the road just past the Gageville United Methodist Church.
Racing starts every Sunday at noon, practice starts at 11 am. They're having a trophy race August 15th (first, second and third places in each class receive a trophy) and they're part of the RCN organization. If you're signed up with them, there's a points race August 29th. Here's a couple of pictures of the track.
It's about 35-40 ft. by 50-60ft overall, with tons of jumps, moguls, and twistie turns. If you have any questions, you can e-mail the board of directors at [email protected] Hope to see you there!
Ahhh, good ol' freepichosting.com's at it again! If you want to see the pics, go to my other post on Ohio tracks.

K&B Racetrack is roughly 1/2 an hour from Erie. They now have a website up and running at www.kandbracetrack.tk
There's only two races left of the season. The owner wants his field back so the deer will be there come hunting season. :depress: Good news is there's another TROPHY RACE on 9/25. Practice starts at 11 am and racing starts at noon. They're having it on a Saturday as it's the season end. There will be a potluck dinner/cookout at the end of the day. If you're interested in participating, go over to the website and look for the post about the 9/25 Race under "News" in the forum on their site. They'll need a headcount for the cookout as they'll supply the meat.
