Sky and I have been planning a bash for Memorial day weekend, 28 - 31 May 2004. The bash will be taking place in the Virginia Beach area and maybe into the Hampton Roads area as well. We're still hashing out the details of what to do, what day and where.

Presently we are looking at using Debbie's RC track at least one day and probably a construction site or two for other days. We have not nailed down exactly which days will be what but we are still planning. As soon as we know, you'll know.

Any ideas of bash sites or thing to do will be welcomed.

Keep looking for more details.

So far, this looks like it will be best in the early summer (MAY - JUNE timeframe). Will narrow the date down as we go.

Attendees so far:
SkyMaxx - Mugen MBX-5, Savage .21
El Pirata - K-1, K-3, Inferno, GS Storm
Christian
Diver6127
ImBroken
Mcvickj
GilBeQuick
msly
joneser4u
SkYLiNe RaCeR
Team 17
El Destructo - GS Storm (maybe a new buggy too)

and...rumor has it WoodiE might desire to make the trip.

At this point, locations look to be the LHS race track, some construction site areas, and taking suggestions...

Am looking for a BMX track, and we have a skate park that we might be able to terrorize.

I am pricing the rental of the LHS track for the day and hotels in the area.

count me and my friend in for sure also, looks like this is gonna rock!

also, i do have a debbies ROAR insurence card so i can use the track, try to use debbies track, also NOTE: if some ppl are bringing tmaxx's with stock plastic spur gears... beware! mine broke so quick and i wasn't even going that fast, its a tough but awsome track they got set up.

not here sorry, just a tmaxx and a buggy, my friend is bringing a dominator and buggy 2.

Is there an on-road track? If so, I'll bring my MTX-3.

nope, no onroad track at debbies unless its a race day, then they put out the pipes and stuff.

No on roard trrack so to speak but an empty parking lot, a little sidewalk chalk and a broom handle do wonders for making your own.

Then I'll bring the Hpi Super nitro. My Mugen does not touch parking lots.

Put me down for right now. I will have to work out some details as the date approaches, but right now it looks good.

I will be bringing the Savage.

Later....

Sky and I were just talking on the phone and we need a detailed list of who's bring what in addition to the names we already have. We also want to know if anyone wants to bash all 4 days or just Saturday and Sunday. We'll also be looking into hotels and rental cars in the next day or two.

I won't be able to do a 4-day bash, but can do Saturday & Sunday.

I will be only bringing the Savage 25.

I am also on Channel 79 - FM - 75.770 Mhz. (hopefully nobody else is on that channel b/c I don't have any other frequencies).

Can you give some specs on the course or where we will be running? (Track Length, Twisty, Straight-aways, Bumps & Jumps, Type of Dirt, etc..) I want to gear my truck and setup for it before I get there.

Thanks....:coffee:

debbies is a brutal track

1 table top
3 moto jumps
1 straightaway, approx 70 ft.
etc.

its a sweet track, more for bottom to mid range..

I'm pretty sure benchracer01 otherwise known as my good older friend eric is coming

thats who i meant when i said me and my friend

but I'm not sure if he can, things could come up, just count him in , but if he can't, then.. he can't lol

Can someone send me a physical street address of Debbies RC Track or a link to it? I just want to get driving times down.

I do have family coming in from Alaska, Malone NY and Boston on the 31st, so I may only be able to make it the 28th and 29th. But dont count on it. Family reunion poop will get my wife all zanged out in the head. I'm trying though.
