Any body know of aluminum wheels that will fit jumbo kongs? Are 40 series the same?

I dont think anyone makes aluminum wheels for the IMEX Jumbo Kongs, they are pretty new and i think that those rims are special just for those tires, so no other wheels would work. I'm pretty sure.

 :hehe: yea i think so.

SUp Big Boys.....

I need to stop by your work and give ya poop bro..hehe.

EDIT - THe kongs look sweet and perfrom well for slower off road stuff like crawling but high speed stability isn't their to say the least.

Peace

Gotta disagree with the stability issue. With my suspension mods at high speeds it is smooth as silk. I agree with a stock set up it is not a good idea.

Well, It's all relative of course but they definitley aren't for road racing but that's a given....lol. Your gonna have to share your setup as most people I know that have em can't stand them except for the bad ass looks. To each their own and enjoy your truck...eh!

EDIT - BTW.. Just my two cents.WHy exactly do you want alluminum wheels bro?? THey can bend and they add allot of rotational mass that can slow your truck down. I can understand alluminum on a show truck though.
Peace

Hate to say it but the aluminum wheels would be for looks! Everytime I run this thing in the dirt hard the outside of the wheels take a beating! Any suggestions for wheels close to this size that perform better>?

I have no idea dude. A Pro-line 40 series would be sweet but I'm sure they aren't the same dimensions as the Kongs are HUGE.

Peace

My suspension consists of full force sway bars front & rear. Integy piggy backs with 80w oil and single hole piston. High strength springs. Not sure who makes the springs but they do the job. The 80w oil and piston made a incredible difference in dampening! The sway bars stopped the severe body roll. I have to admit I sort of built the suspension around the tires. Trial an error. Took awhile but I got a good combo. Does any body know of a good conversion for a three shock set up per wheel?

SUp dude,

I really dug 80 weight with my Big Bore shocks but it's definitley a bit heavy to say the least for Integy piggybacks. I'd go with 45 wt or less on the Integy's. I'm gonna be running 45wt in the rear of my Piggies and 35 in the front. The thing that you have to keep in mind with shock tuning and dampening in genreral, is that you need to realy more on you springs dameping and less on the shock pistons and oil weight. If you need a stiffer setup then try stiffer springs and adjust and play with them accordingly. WHen you've got that down then you can mess with different size shock pistons for a perfect fine tune for your neeeds. SOunds like you've got a nice setup either way but I wouldn't run that heavy of an oil in Piggies.

Peace
