I saw someone put ski's on the front of the maxx so they could drive it in the snow.

Steve

Not alot of snow in Arizona. I'm thinking about making a cheaper set for those people with lack of fuinds. Maybe just the back tracks, and wheels on the front.

ok so let me get this strait you are making an add on for the maxx for the front and back wheels right? COOL!

Yeah, they look great wwith my old pick-up body. I just ordered a few sets of production tracks, so when the parts are done machining, we can start selling to the public.

I'm still working on the cost. Once I get a few production models done, I'll know for sure. probably $500-700 for all 4 tracks.

I'll be selling them on my website, and maybe e-bay. But, the first 8 are already spoken for, so you'll have to wait.

Get this, in England full scale tanks are street legal, as long as they have rubber cleated tracks and you get certified to drive one in traffic. Info courtesy of the travel channel.

I converted my maxx into a tank. I used the original tires minus the sidewalls for tracks. I made a set of brake calipers and rotors for steering. It was murdered before I could finish it COMPLETELY, but it worked anyway. I'm curuious to see what you came up with. i realize this topic is very old but I'd like to know. Thanks. BTW, did you see the radio shack truck with mattracks? neato.

The infamous phootbag I presume??

I saw your posts 2 years ago on that Nazi site, and have been losing sleep ever since. I got the Radio Shack Mattraxx to work fairly good, but it needs alot more work. PM me and I'll give you an udpate.

they have a r/c at radio shack and it has tracks and tires

thought it was pretty cool but now that they made some they are still cool

Nazi site eh? Well unless they changed the Tmaxx site without telling me, this must be a different phoot.

About the tracks, just do kinda what they did but beef up the parts. If you use a small drum like they did to drive the belt you'll have automatic gear reduction. I'd say your maxx wouln'dt go more than between five and ten mph. At any rate, that'd be cool to see.

I re-read your post. I get it now. heh.

"That" site is geared toward children, it seems. Can you show me your hub adapters?
