put alot of work into my revo3.3
complete teardown, i mean down to bare chassis
opened F/R diff's clean inspected re assambled,
cleaned checked every bearing replaced as needed
rebuilt a trans w/ new gears(complete) and bearings, center diff(new)
rear brake kit. new hex's w/ anti roll pins, cleaned and checked motor,
new header coupling rear assembled complete truck............
now the bad news.......went for a test run last night before todays race, heard what sounded like a rod issue, was running low on fuel, thing leaned out under power and WOW lost pinch instantly.
tore motor apart found rod was stretched on the wrist pin side and can push the piston almost completely out of the sleeve through the top of the sleeve..
no big deal right, brand new rod in the parts box, but NO, not a P&S with any pinch was to be found, and at 2am can't just run down to the LHS and pick one up.. So my bad week at work turned into bad weekend with my revo..
Thanks for letting me VENT, i really needed it
