Yeah, I'm wanting to get a full size 1979 Ford F350 crew cab, but they are so expensive now
oh I know, there priced crazy like my little orange bronco I built, I think the only way some of us can afford them is to build em ourselves, that's like me always buying a rc roller, it's think I'm saving money 🤑🤪🤪

The most recent updates to this build are that I got the Proline Beams kit installed with some Amazon special shocks for temporary. I also got another Redcat Gen7 with AR44s and the tires I want for only $30 off Facebook Marketplace. The body is roughly cut out but still waiting on taller shock towers to run 5" shocks

super nice quality build, old school ford twin I beam, but still effective 👍

It's been awhile since I've updated this thread. I haven't done a lot to it but it is good to update it. I picked up some 93mm Gmade piggyback shocks for the front and used Amazon shocks as secondaries for now. I also got Jconcepts Animal paddle tires with Hawk front tires.

Prolibe finally came out with a prerunner bumper so I ordered one as soon as they came out. On the rear suspension, I got trailing arm and shock tower conversion brackets from Double Clutch Productions on Youtube. I used an Element Enduro sway bar with the stiff bar and a Hot Racing 90mm limiting straps mounted on the frame to the stock shock mounts on the housing. I'm running a AR44 rear axle that I am waiting for parts which is why it's torn apart right now.

For the drive train, I ordered Vanquish Chromolly axles and Team Ottsix Racing overdrive ring and pinion with a Team Ottsix Racing drive shaft. I ordered Arrma Mojave 6s rear shocks due to the Proline XT 5" shocks not being available right now but they are too big and stiff so I'll just have to wait on those.

Very cool build! I didn't even know there was a conversion available to build these into a pre-runner. So maybe I missed it, but what motor are you running?

Love that body on there too. Much better.

Yeah, I think it's a pretty new release for the prerunner platform, I am wanting to run a Castle Sidewinder 4 system in it but I will first try out a Surpass Hobby motor that I have in my 79 Bronco to see if that is going to be good enough
